MAG 2.0: Product History

2017

The University Children’s Hospital Zurich (Kispi) launches a project to redesign its employee appraisal process. The project is prompted by two factors: insufficient acceptance of the existing process, and low motivation to conduct performance and development conversations.

2018

C-Factor AG and the Kispi HR team work with an interdisciplinary working group to develop a new conversation concept and test it in a pilot project.

2019

Following completion of the pilot project, the University Children’s Hospital Zurich introduces the concept throughout the organisation. MAG 2.0 emerges from this project.

2020

MAG 2.0 is made available to other companies and organisations for the first time. Two solutions are available at market launch: MAG 2.0 Standard, with predefined conversation topics and materials, and MAG 2.0 Individuell, with customisable conversation topics and a design that can be adapted to an organisation’s corporate identity.

2024

MAG 2.0 digital is introduced as a digital extension to MAG 2.0 Standard and MAG 2.0 Individuell. C-Factor AG and Customize integrate digital preparation, follow-up and analysis into the Abacus HR Suite. Personal performance and development conversations continue to be conducted using physical conversation topic cards.
